In an effort to streamline insurance claims, QBE has improved its online portal for insurance brokers.
Using these enhancements, insurance brokers can register and finalise straightforward Household insurance claims up to $5,000 – up from $3,000 – which could see in excess of 27,000 claims processed and finalised each year. More than 80 per cent of all Business Package claims less than $5,000 are expected to be processed via c.change with the introduction of the STP capability.
Insurance brokers are now also able to register and appoint assessors for Private and Commercial Motor Vehicle insurance claims, to speed up authorisation of insurance repairs and ultimately claims finalisation.
A QBE spokesperson said it is important brokers have complete transparency over the customer’s claim, with real-time access to the file including assessors reports and payment history. These enhancements are geared to allow insurance brokers to manage that component of the customer experience with ease and speed and thus save time which could otherwise be wasted waiting for return phone calls.
