Life Insurer TAL has announced a revamped version of its Accelerated Protection life insurance offering. It has also made it available on the IOOF Pursuit platform. The life insurer has explained the changes as a way to provide greater protection for clients and make it easier for insurance advisers to write life insurance.
Tower’s Chief Executive of Retail Life Brett Clark was quoted as saying, “Tower Accelerated Protection can now be accessed and funded through IOOF Pursuit. This provides advisers with a comprehensive life insurance offer with the structuring flexibility to meet all their clients’ needs,” said He added that relationship with IOOF also offered customers with “a full range of life insurance structuring options with significant tax and cash flow advantages.”
Tower said that the update to the product included the following features:
1) more competitive premium rates for income protection,
2) a Superlink total and permanent disability option,
3) a new Needlestick Benefit aimed at healthcare professionals, and
4) maximum entry levels for stepped and level premiums.
