Scott McCarthy has been appointed General Manager of Ausure Insurance Brokers. This follows the merger of AFM Insurance Brokers into Ausure Insurance Brokers which takes effect from 26 November 2012.
Scott McCarthy has been the Chief Executive Officer of AFM Insurance Brokers since its inception 16 years ago. During this time he grew AFM to be one of the largest specialist wholesale insurance brokers in Australia and a service provider to over 60 businesses with a turnover in excess of $50 million. Prior to this, Scott worked in broking at Willis and Commercial Underwriting at FAI.
Ausure and AFM have been working together internally for the past 12 months, since Ausure purchased AFM in October 2011. All AFM client portfolios, staff and Authorised Representatives have been integrated into Ausure.
