QBE has been awarded Best General Insurance Product of the Year for its Aviation product at the 2010 Australian Banking & Finance (AB+F) Insurance Awards.
QBE claims it is the largest aviation insurer in Australasia. It has an extensive distribution network and a team comprised of trained pilots, engineers and aircraft owners. The team also celebrated 50 years in the Aviation business this month.
QBE Aviation GM John Buckley said it was a great honour to be the recipient of the award and thanked his team. Commenting on reaching the 50 year milestone, he said, “QBE has a fantastic network of partners who allow us to continue delivering on our vision, and provide greater innovation and delivery of service to remain first chOKoice for our customers. We look forward to delivering this level of dedication and specialisation for many more years to come.”
