NM Insurance has announced a new agency agreement for NM Insurance Pty Limited (NM), with Zurich Australian Insurance Limited (ZAIL) across Australia and New Zealand, replacing AIG as the capacity provider.
Both NM and AIG Australia Limited (AIG) have mutually agreed that the binder relationship will cease from 16 July 2020. From 17 July 2020, NM as agent of ZAIL will offer policy invitations for new business and expiring polices relating to all classes of insurance currently issued by NM under a new long-term binder agreement with ZAIL, including the following brands and products:
- Nautilus Marine, boat insurance for pleasure craft, commercial hull and boating industry property and liability lines.
- National Motorcycle Insurance, recreational on-road and off-road motorcycle lines.
- Australian Caravan Insurance for Australian-based recreational caravan lines.
NM CEO Lyndon explained “I am confident these changes will assist in meeting the needs of our clients, while supporting ZAIL’s priorities as demonstrated in the recent announcement of their support for NM’s Proteus commercial marine business in New Zealand.”
ZAIL is part of the Zurich Insurance Group, a leading multi-line insurer that serves customers in global and local markets.
