David Wyner, Managing Partner at Reliance Partners, has been confirmed as the new President of The National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia (NIBA)
Long serving NIBA Director and NIBA Past President, Steve Ball from Jardine Lloyd Thompson, has retired from the Board. The Board has appointed Gary Okely, of JLT’s Adelaide office, to take over Steve’s position. NIBA CEO Dallas Booth paid tribute to the extensive contribution made by David Duffield and Steve Ball to the organisation and the industry over many years, and in particular to David Duffield’s leadership, guidance and support during the change of Chief Executive in 2011. “I look forward to working closely with David Wyner, Graham Stevens and our new Director Gary Okely in the years to come as we continue to improve the way in which NIBA represents Members and serves their needs and interests”, Mr Booth said.
