Mondial transition to Allianz

A global brand transition between Mondial Assistance Australia and Allianz is set to take place 28 July 2011 with the expected completion date to be in late 2012.

With the head office located in Brisbane, Mondial have been a part of the Allianz group for over ten years and has since seen dramatic growth. The company are committed to continue to build on the already existing services, and the move to formally become Allianz Global Assistance is expected to enhance business opportunities through brand recognition.

The business-to-business structure that Mondial operate under mean many Australian consumers are in contact with the brand without knowing it. Some clients Mondial are associated include Mercedes-Benz, Virgin Blue, Aussietravelcover, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and leading universities including Sydney University and La Trobe University.

With the brand transition, the operations and business-to-business focus is said to remain the same. Mondial currently operates in 28 countries providing specialised products including travel insurance and emergency medical assistance, roadside assistance to automotive manufacturers as well as overseas student health insurance and assistance to Australian universities and higher education institutions.
