Matcham appointed CEO of ARPC

David Matcham has been appointed CEO of The Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC). The ARPC was established by the Federal Government in 2003 in response to the withdrawal of terrorism cover by insurers.
Matcham left Lumley in June 2009, after spending more than 32 years with the company, 10 years of which were as Lumley CEO. Matcham is currently the Chairman of the Create Foundation, the peak body for children in care, and a Director of Hollard Insurance.
David Matcham takes over from Neil Weeks. Weeks, who was a former CEO of the Territory Insurance Office and had been with the ARPC since it was established, retired earlier this year.
