A Lumley Insurance survey has revealed insurance brokers enjoy Lumley’s local touch, working relationships as well as claims and underwriting services. This is according to results from the 2010 Annual Lumley Insurance Broker Survey.
Lumley Insurance COO John Nagle said, “Compared to the 2009 survey results we can see significant improvement. We’ve been continually investing in our claims and underwriting services and it is pleasing to find that Brokers continue to support our State-based operating model and value the working relationships they have with their local Lumley Insurance team.”
The biggest improvement was shown in Lumley Insurance’s claims and underwriting services, with satisfaction ratings in both areas improving more than 20% on the 2009 survey results. Overall relationship ratings improved across all States.
Brokers expressed high levels of satisfaction with Lumley Insurance in terms of meeting their expectations on service and accessibility, with positive ratings on being ‘easy to deal with’. Brokers also found Lumley Insurance offerings to be competitively priced.
“While the results have exceeded our expectations we also had some excellent feedback with respect to areas of improvement. Over the next 12 months we will continue to strive to focus on these areas to keep improving services to our Brokers,” added John Nagle.
The survey results were compiled from over 1400 responses nationally.
