Ever wonder how those energetic ballkids, who dash across court to collect stray balls at lightening speed, get selected? For the first time MLC is sponsoring the ballkids at this year’s Australian Open which starts on Monday 18 January and runs till Sunday 31 January 2010 in Melbourne Park.
The MLC Ballkids are a group of young people specially chosen from thousands of applications each season. They are selected for their fitness, concentration and general passion for tennis. Sometimes these kids go even further to be extraordinary tennis players themselves.
MLC will also be the official Advice, Life Insurance and Super sponsors of this year’s tennis season.
