Healthy Living Index Survey
Life Insurer AIA has released results of the Healthy Living Index Survey 2013 which is a first-of-its-kind study of more than 10,000 people across Asia Pacific.
Damien Mu AIA Australia’s General Manager Life Insurance explains that Australians identified the following health concerns
- Cancer (49%)
- Heart disease (29%)
- Obesity (29%)
- Alzheimer’s (27%)
- Depression (21%)
The survey also noted the addition of internet addiction as a raising concern.
Australian adults view having a better quality of life, better mental health and not getting sick as the main motivators for living a healthy lifestyle.
Since the last survey Australians are getting more sleep and exercise more.
