Diabetes has been added to Life Insurer AIA’s crisis event under its benefits listings, this is one of the changes to its Priority Protection product as well as now offering better definitions of cancer for existing policyholders by removing certain tumour exclusions and introducing an optional rider benefit, Advantage Optional, to the Income Protection Insurance.
AIA Australia’s Damien Mu said the group had reviewed its product range to meet the changing needs of customers and policyholders
