Former New South Wales opposition leader will take up a role as chief executive of the Investment and Financial Service Association from August 28th 2009, the IFSA is a national not-for-profit organisation which represents the retail and wholesale funds management, superannuation and life insurance industries. IFSA has over 145 members who are responsible for investing over $1 trillion on behalf of more than ten million Australians.
The IFSA is manages the Lifewise program, Lifewise is an initiative of the Australian life insurance industry aimed at encouraging Australians to take appropriate steps to protect themselves from the financial hardship that can result from accident, sickness or death.
