Life insurer Axa Asia Pacific is the latest insure to announced it will reduce its work force by 200 staff in 2 rounds of sackings, this follows cuts it made in April, CEO Andy Penn believes that 2009 “is going to be bleaker than other years and much bleaker than we first thought”
The move by AXA follows moves by other insurers to trim their work force Macquarie group reduced their staff by 1000, AMP by 200 and Perpetual 100.
