In recognition of his contribution to the insurance industry, Mr Ian Brown has been awarded an honorary life membership of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
Mr Brown is the Past President (2005-2007) of ANZIIF and has been a Director since 2002. Mr Brown retired from Executive duties but remains as an Independent Director on several Boards after 40 years as a Senior Insurance Executive and former CEO of Insurance Companies in New Zealand and Australia.
Mr Brown is also the Former President of the Australian Institute of Management WA, Chairman of the China Automobile Association Beijing, Director of Safety Insurance Public Company Bangkok, Chairman of IAGRE Labuan, Director of Insurance Australia Group Reinsurance, Director IAG International Ltd, and Director of Proclaim Management Systems Melbourne.
Mr Brown is now a resident in Sydney and passionate about insurance education and development.
