Harry Georgoulas of Jardine Lloyd Thompson has been announced QPIB of the Year. The award, sponsored by Zurich, was presented to Georgoulas at a prestigious NIBA (National Insurance Brokers Association) function at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney on Saturday 10 July 2010. Georgoulas heads up the Placements Services Division at Jardine Lloyd Thompson.
A QPIB (Qualified Practising Insurance Broker of the College) is a practitioner class given to those who have fully qualified as a broker. It means that the broker has either a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) with NIBA College or another registered training organisation or equivalent; a minimum of four years experience as an insurance broker; and participated in continuing professional development as required by the NIBA. These members are entitled to use the post nominal “NIBA College (QPIB)”.
