Insurance Australia Group Ltd (IAG) has announced the appointment of former McDonald’s Australia MD and CEO Peter Bush as a non-executive Director of the company.
Currently also a non-executive Director of Pacific Brands Ltd, Bush has previously served on the boards of Lion Nathan Ltd, Miranda Wines and Frucor.
IAG Chairman Brian Schwartz said Bush’s knowledge of evolving customer demand and the drivers behind consumer decisions would be a valuable addition to the company. His extensive involvement in the Asian region was also important to IAG’s long term growth strategy.
Bush takes over the role from James Strong. The IAG Board now has seven non-executive Directors and one executive Director.
