Hollard Insurance Group has denied a media report today that it is considering exiting the Australian insurance market.
The Group, which operates the Real Insurance brand in Australia, received an unsolicited offer for that business earlier this year. That offer was rejected. Richard Enthoven, Managing Director of Hollard said: “I can confirm that there is no sales process underway, contrary to the report in the Australian Financial Review today.
“We are looking forward to continuing to build a world class Australian insurance business, as we have been doing for the last 11 years. Our Australian business is performing very well and we are committed to it 100 per cent.”
