Ansvar Insurance says it plans to focus more of it’s energies on tailoring insurance products for organisations in its core segments of faith, community service organisations, care, heritage and education.
The company hopes to deepen its reputation as a leading insurer in its specialist markets and will no longer provide personal lines insurance products for distribution through brokers and Authorised Representatives in Australia. This excludes affinity partners and their members.
This will come in to effect from 4pm, 21 February 2011, for new business and 4pm 31 March 2011 for renewals.Policies affected by this decision include:
- MaxiCover House and Contents Insurance
- HomeCover House and Contents Insurance
- Private Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Pleasurecraft Insurance
Ansvar says renewal certificates issued prior to 31 March 2011 will be honoured and will remain with them until its renewal expiry date as issued on the renewal notice.
MD Andrew Moon said, “We will continue to maintain and strengthen our relationships with all brokers, to provide tailored insurance policies and services which we are truly expert in.”
