The Allianz insurance group has awarded its annual Genius safety prize to Adam Opel GmbH, the German subsidiary of General Motors. The prize was awarded for the development and introduction of an innovative headlamp system that has the special feature of being able to automatically adjuststo many different driving situations.
The Genius Safety Prize is a mechanism which Allianzuses to show recognition for the dedication of the automotive industry and support for innovations which increase safety systems.
